If the 6mA DC current leakage monitoring devices gives false positive errors, follow the below steps to replace it with a new one.
This work must be carried out by a trained electrician according to the local regulations.
Step-by-step guide
- Disconnect the charger's power from the panel board feeding the charger
- Disconnect OUT L1, L2, L3 and N cables from the charge controller
- Pull out the DC leakage detector
- Disconect the DC leakage detector from the charge controller, please be very careful as the connector is fragile. Hold the charge controller's connector block in place with a small screw driver while releasing the plug's locking and pulling out the plug.
- Insert the new DC leakage detector device to the socket outlet wires in the same orientation
- Reconnect the OUT L1, L2, L3 and N cables in same order they were originally
- Reonnect the charger's power from the panel board feeding the charger and make a charging test to see that everything works
