Services required are:

  • GPRS Data service

Information needed to configure the SIM card in the CC1612 charge controller is:

  • GPRS Access Point Name (GPRS APN)
  • APN username (if any)
  • APN password (if any)
  • SIM card PIN code (if any)

Note* In case OCPP 1.5 SOAP is used, the requirement is that there is two way communication possible between the back-end and the SIM card's IP address.

A:

Data consumption depends on the used OCPP protocol version, the configuration of the charger and the number of over the air firmware updates applied. Typically data consumption is 50-150 MB per month.

What RFID tag types are compatible with the CC1612 charge controller used in Chago Wallbox, Chago Pro, Chago Premium and Chago Media?
A:

The CC1612 is compatible with ISO/IEC 14443A compatible RFID tags (see here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO/IEC_14443)

Below are some examples of compatible tags:

  • Mifare (Classic, DesFire etc.)
  • NFC tags

The CC1612 only reads the tag ID from the card and does not do any other higher level processing.
