If the charge controller's CPU board has faulted, for example if the USB connection from PC to the charge controller is not working, the CPU board might be faulty. See below how to replace it.


Note: Always disconnect power supply from the charger before doing any work inside the charger to avoid electrical shock.


Step-by-step guide

Add the steps involved:

  1. Check the serial number of the charge controller(s) for which the CPU boards will be replaced
  2. Check the type plate of the charger
  3. Get the configuration from the original charge controller(s), if possible, for which the CPU board will be replaced: EnstoEVConfigurator - Configuration transfer
  4. Send the above information to chago.support@ensto.com
  5. Ensto will send you the replacement part(s)
  6. When you receive the replacement part(s), see the video matching your product about how to do the replacement work

  7. If the boards have not been pre-configured by Ensto before shipment, then continue with EnstoEVConfigurator - Configuration transfer by using the original configuration from step 3. as source
